Senior Technical Officer – Electrical Technician

About the role

The Senior Technical Officer – Electrical Technician will lead the daily maintenance operations of an industrial plant, ensuring reliable electrical systems and high safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day plant maintenance activities.
• Supervise and support maintenance personnel as needed.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in line with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer specifications.
• Trace technical faults, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement solutions.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure work areas are clean before and after tasks.
• Organise tools and parts efficiently after each job.
• Document all maintenance work in the plant’s software and complete required job sheets.

Required profile

• MQF Level 5 with at least 5 years of experience, or MQF Level 4 with at least 10 years of experience.
• Valid Electrical Licence A and Licence B.
• Clean police conduct record (copy required with application).
