Senior Tax Associate – US Global Reporting & Compliance

About the role

The Senior Tax Associate joins Gartner's Global Tax Business Solutions team to lead US global tax reporting and compliance activities. You will work on complex tax provisions, support audit and SOX initiatives, and help drive process improvements using advanced technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare US Global (US Inclusion) tax provision under US GAAP (ASC 740) and calculate Global Effective Tax Rate (ETR).
• Support audit and SOX workstreams and collaborate with the broader tax reporting team.
• Prepare US Global Federal compliance forms for foreign subsidiaries (Forms 5471, 8858, 8865).
• Leverage AI, tax technology, and Excel enhancements to improve reporting processes.
• Manage projects, generate ideas, and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field (CPA or master’s preferred).
• 2–4 years of tax experience, preferably in public accounting or a US multinational environment.
• General knowledge of U.S. international taxation and ASC 740 concepts is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion or similar ERP/EPM systems.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving abilities and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
