Senior Anti Financial Crime Manager

About the role

As Senior Anti Financial Crime Compliance Manager, you will help shape trusted compliance across a global online business. The Anti Financial Crime Compliance function provides oversight and direction on anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing and sanctions matters. Reporting to the Head of Anti Financial Crime Compliance, you will provide subject matter expertise so that regulatory requirements are understood, assessed and embedded across bet365, taking a pragmatic, risk-based approach.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret global requirements and apply sound regulatory judgement to assess and embed compliance across the business
• Represent the function in discussions with senior management and engage with stakeholders on regulatory and compliance matters
• Lead new workstreams, identify financial crime risks and oversee their delivery
• Produce clear, accurate external-facing materials on anti-financial crime compliance
• Coach and support Managers through direction and constructive feedback
• Act as a senior escalation point for financial crime matters across the business
• Support the Head of Anti Financial Crime Compliance with strategic and operational priorities

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of AML/CTF and sanctions frameworks
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
• Experience in a regulated sector such as gambling, financial services or another highly regulated industry
• Ability to lead complex workstreams from planning through to delivery
• Experience developing and supporting Managers
• Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
