Labourer & Tiler – Maintenance Team

About the role

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Labourer & Tiler to join the Maintenance team at db Hotels & Resorts. The successful candidate will support general labour duties across the property while carrying out tiling repairs and installations, helping to keep our hotels in excellent condition.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out tiling works, including repairs, replacements, and new installations in bathrooms, guest rooms, and common areas.
• Provide general labour support such as lifting, carrying, and preparing materials for the Maintenance team.
• Assist tradespeople (tilers, painters, carpenters, plumbers, etc.) with day‑to‑day maintenance and refurbishment tasks.
• Prepare work areas and surfaces ahead of maintenance or refurbishment works.
• Clean and clear work sites, disposing of waste and debris safely and responsibly.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests as directed by supervisors.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, neatly, and with minimal disruption to guests.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Labourer and/or Tiler, preferably in a hotel, construction, or hospitality environment.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour, including lifting and carrying materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a hands‑on, reliable, can‑do attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by hotel operations.
• Basic English communication skills.
