Audit Assistant

About the role

EY is looking for an Audit Assistant to support clients in meeting their reporting requirements. You will work within a diverse, globally‑connected team, delivering high‑quality audit services while developing your technical expertise and professional network.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse client data to perform audit procedures and ensure financial statements are true and fair.
• Support planning, execution and documentation of audit engagements, including higher‑risk areas such as revenue, costs, financial instruments and tax.
• Maintain productive relationships with client personnel and keep engagement leaders informed of progress.
• Provide insights on accounting and reporting matters, influencing clients and engagement teams.
• Share market trends and best practices with junior colleagues to foster continuous learning.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• ACA, CA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent international certification).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of current auditing techniques, IFRS and local GAAP.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and collaborative skills.
