Store Manager - Kiabi (Midi)

About the role

Hudson Group, an international retailer and distributor active in sport and fashion wear, is recruiting a Store Manager for a Kiabi outlet in Malta. The post is full-time, based in the store and reports to the Retail Operations Manager. The main objective is to oversee all operations so that customers receive swift and polite service, sales are supported and the brand's reputation is upheld.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out actions raised on productivity reports from retail operations and country banners, and handle customer complaints and queries effectively
• Adhere to brand guidelines and collection planning, and share feedback on buying trends and missed opportunities with Retail Ops
• Manage the store budget covering sales, payroll and operational costs
• Recruit and select staff according to brand guidelines and allocated headcount, create rosters, ensure accurate timesheets and own staff appraisals
• Train staff daily on customer service and store operations, and ensure all assigned training is completed
• Keep the outlet well maintained, ensure visual merchandising guidelines are followed and that items are defect-free, correctly displayed and priced
• Ensure security measures are in place and functioning, and provide sales assistants with the equipment and products they need
• Own the store P&L, including top-line sales, conversion rates (UPT, ATV), stock loss, labour costs and mystery shopper ratings

Required profile

• At least 2 years' experience in a retail store, ideally in a supervisory or leadership role
• Knowledge of financial and customer service principles
• Sales-driven, with a good understanding of KPIs and business acumen to make commercial decisions
• Flexibility to work in shifts
