Maintenance Technician – Pharmaceutical Facility

About the role

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company with EU GMP and US FDA‑approved facilities in Malta, is expanding its engineering team. They seek a motivated Maintenance Technician to ensure equipment reliability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment and utilities.
• Conduct corrective maintenance to maintain proper functioning of machinery.
• Ensure efficient operation of all equipment, minimizing downtime.
• Work on a rotational shift basis to support continuous operations.
• Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Relevant technical qualification; Electrical License (Category B) preferred.
• Experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Willingness to work on a rotational shift basis.
• Strong attention to detail and self‑motivation.
• Results‑oriented with a positive attitude aligned with company values.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent multitasking and task prioritization skills.
• Proficient in English and Maltese.
• Computer literate and proactive.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
