Compliance Manager – Canada

About the role

DAZN Bet is looking for a Compliance Manager to lead its Canadian regulatory function. Based in Malta, you will work closely with product, operations, legal, marketing and customer services teams to ensure the business meets all Canadian licensing and compliance obligations while supporting commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of Ontario, Alberta and broader Canadian legislation, regulations and guidance.
• Advise business units on the implementation of commercially compliant operational procedures and ensure alignment with internal policies.
• Build and manage a strong internal network of stakeholders, providing timely compliance advice and risk mitigation.
• Conduct horizon scanning for regulatory changes, report findings and integrate them into business planning.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Canadian regulators and oversee licensing obligations.
• Support new projects and initiatives impacting the Canadian market, representing compliance in steering committees.
• Maintain and annually review regulatory policy documentation and internal guidance.
• Prepare and deliver all required regulatory reporting to Canadian authorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in regulatory compliance within the Canadian gambling or betting sector.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across senior and operational levels.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving regulatory environment.
• Detail‑oriented with a commercial mindset, balancing business objectives and regulatory requirements.
