CAMO Engineer – Aircraft Maintenance Planning

About the role
AirX is seeking a CAMO Engineer to join its CAMO Department in Malta. Reporting directly to the Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness (NPCA), you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all maintenance activities to keep the fleet airworthy.
Key responsibilities
- Obtain and update maintenance data and aircraft records.
- Liaise with maintenance subcontractors and internal logistics, purchasing, and MRO teams.
- Prepare aircraft modification and repair documentation.
- Schedule and issue work orders for short‑term maintenance events.
- Generate work packs for AOG and non‑grounding defects.
- Monitor due dates of work orders, ensuring compliance with quality audits.
- Provide technical assistance for multiple aircraft types.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience in a technical aviation role (maintenance technician or continuing airworthiness management) or a graduate/diploma in Aeronautical Engineering.
- Ability to navigate airworthiness IT systems.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
Required skills
- Experience with Traxxall (advantageous).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Familiarity with airworthiness IT systems.
