Warehouse Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Malta. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the supply chain in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee storage and movement of raw materials, packaging, intermediates, finished goods and consumables.
• Ensure all activities comply with GMP, GDP, health & safety and internal quality standards.
• Manage, coach and develop warehouse supervisors and operators, handling recruitment, training and performance management.
• Maintain accurate inventory through ERP systems, stock reconciliation and cycle‑count programmes.
• Supervise temperature‑controlled areas and safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Lead investigations of inventory discrepancies, deviations, customer complaints and CAPAs.
• Support regulatory inspections, customer and internal audits.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity and cost optimisation.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, QC, Procurement and Supply Chain teams for efficient planning.
• Manage relationships with third‑party logistics providers and implement layout and cost‑saving improvements.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years managing warehouse operations in pharmaceutical, healthcare, chemical or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• At least three years in a leadership or management position.
• Strong understanding of GMP, GDP, inventory management and warehouse best practices.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high‑performing teams.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of SAP (considered an asset).
