Sales Manager – Fintech Payments

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to drive new payment services across emerging digital finance and regulated markets. Based in Malta, you will leverage your network and market expertise to position our financial and payment services platform as the preferred partner for fast‑to‑market clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and close new opportunities in complex, fast‑evolving sectors while balancing speed, risk appetite and tailored pricing.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using your industry network and insight.
• Present our EMI/payment platform as a client‑centric alternative to legacy providers.
• Structure commercial terms and pricing models that balance agility with prudent risk management.
• Own the end‑to‑end client journey: guide integration, drive renewals or upsells, and ensure seamless implementation with onboarding, operations and support teams.
• Maintain strong post‑sale relationships, providing responsive support and consistent service quality.
• Represent the company at key events, capture real‑time market feedback and feed insights back to product, pricing and risk strategies.

Required profile

• 5+ years of sales or business development experience within EMI, PSP, FX, gaming, crypto or similar fintech sectors.
• Proven track record of hunting new logos and closing complex deals.
• Deep understanding of pricing, onboarding and client support in specialist sectors.
• Exceptional networker with senior‑level contacts and a presence at industry gatherings.
• Highly driven, entrepreneurial, targets‑obsessed and collaborative.
• Based in Malta with flexibility to travel.
