Sales Co‑ordinator

About the role

The Sales Co‑ordinator provides confidential, day‑to‑day administrative support to the Sales team, ensuring smooth communication, accurate reporting and timely execution of sales‑related activities. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Sales Managers, the role acts as a central hub for internal and external requests, helping the hotel maintain high client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily administrative duties for the Sales team, including correspondence, reporting and data entry.
• Act as the primary liaison between Sales staff, customers, department heads and other internal stakeholders.
• Operate the department telephone line and handle urgent customer requests when Sales Managers are unavailable.
• Enter client contacts into the Opera system and follow up with emails and other communications.
• Prepare purchase orders, organise sales trips, collateral, catering and event logistics.
• Maintain inventory of sales collateral and coordinate site inspections, competitor visits and familiarisation trips.
• Arrange and support internal and external meetings, including invitations, RSVP tracking and distribution of gifts.
• Provide cover for other coordinators during absences and support hotel operations during peak demand.
