Retail Buyer

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Retail Buyer position is based in Valletta. You will be responsible for selecting and managing product assortments that meet customer demand while supporting the commercial objectives of the brands.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales and product performance to inform buying decisions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with market, lifestyle and consumer trends.
• Assist in selecting and developing commercially successful product ranges.
• Build and regularly review assortment plans, including sizing ratios, quantities and depth of range.
• Monitor stock levels and product performance, taking corrective action when needed.
• Collaborate on seasonal collections, new product launches and ongoing introductions across stores and online.
• Support the planning and execution of promotions and end‑of‑season sales.
• Ensure retail space and product allocation align with sales performance and commercial priorities.
• Work closely with store teams, Visual Merchandising and Warehouse Operations to present products according to brand standards.

Required profile

• Strong interest in fashion, beauty and homeware.
• Commercial and analytical mindset with confidence working with numbers and sales data.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of responsibilities.
• Previous experience in buying or merchandising.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advanced skills considered an asset).
