Boutique Manager

About the role

As a Boutique Manager you will lead the onboard retail operation, creating a premium shopping environment that reflects MSC Cruises’ luxury hospitality standards. You will motivate and guide a multicultural retail team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while ensuring commercial performance and operational excellence across all boutique areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily boutique operations and maintain high merchandising and service standards.
• Drive sales performance and achieve commercial targets.
• Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction and a consistent, high‑quality shopping experience across the fleet.
• Coach, develop and manage a multicultural retail team.
• Coordinate with other onboard departments to align operational priorities.
• Maintain a premium, luxury retail environment that meets MSC Cruises’ brand standards.

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a sea‑going Boutique Manager with another cruise line.
• Proven track record managing retail operations and achieving sales targets.
• Experience leading multicultural teams in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong understanding of luxury retail and customer service standards.
• Previous cruise ship experience preferred.

Required skills

• Fluent spoken and written English (minimum B1 level).
• Additional European languages are an advantage.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Guest‑focused mindset with strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage operational priorities.
• Professional appearance and a flexible, adaptable attitude for onboard living.
