Medical Devices Responsible Person (MDRP) – Malta

About the role

Our client, a leading medical device importer and distributor in Malta, is seeking a qualified Medical Devices Responsible Person (MDRP) to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a robust Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Medical Devices Regulations, local legislation and agreements with manufacturers.
• Assist in designing, implementing and maintaining an effective Quality Management System for medical devices.
• Maintain inventory and traceability records, including GDP‑compliant storage conditions.
• Manage product notifications, complaints, corrective actions and field safety activities through the EUDAMED portal.
• Host inspections and audits from local authorities and suppliers, and perform internal audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Life Science discipline.
• Registered as an MDRP with the Malta Medicines Authority.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in regulatory affairs or quality management for medical devices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with the EUDAMED portal and GDP guidelines.
