Lab Analyst – Quality Control Microbiology

About the role

The Lab Analyst, QC Micro at Baxter supports the manufacturing plant by performing microbiological testing and ensuring compliance with GMP standards. This position offers the chance to work within a global healthcare organization while contributing directly to product safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aseptic technique, sampling, and bioburden testing of water and medical devices.
• Conduct spectrophotometric analysis and environmental testing, including method validations.
• Prepare media and microbial cultures, and carry out sterilization‑related activities.
• Compile documentation in accordance with GMP requirements.

Required profile

• Science‑related degree (Chemistry, Biology or medical‑laboratory science) with 1‑2 years of experience in a certified microbiology laboratory.
• Structured approach, strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to investigate problems, set priorities and follow through on actions.
• Use data, technical information and professional judgement to make sound decisions.
