Licensed Aircraft Engineer (Line Maintenance)

About the role

AirX Jet Support Malta (an EASA P145 AMO) is recruiting Licensed Aircraft Engineers who report directly to the Line Support Supervisor. Positions are based at three airports: Stansted (EGSS), Le Bourget (LFPB) and Nice (LFMN). Preference is given to candidates already working or living locally in these areas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform line maintenance tasks according to approved maintenance data, covering scheduled and unscheduled inputs and AOG recoveries
• Communicate with the engineering team, Line Support Supervisor, Line Maintenance Manager, the Charter MCC department and third parties
• Follow safety regulations, housekeeping standards and the Maintenance Organisation Exposition, and report deficiencies
• Handle off-aircraft duties such as spare parts and documentation
• Support aircraft maintenance as an unlicensed engineer when needed for aircraft types outside current approval
• Use the company intranet and Comply365 for training and operational documentation, attend required training and carry out other assigned duties

Required profile

• EASA B1 licence, preferably B1/B2
• Type ratings on Bombardier Challenger 850/604, Embraer Legacy 600 and Embraer Lineage 1000
• Experience as certifying staff in a line maintenance environment
• Ability to travel at short notice and accept occasional roster changes

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of aircraft systems and strong ability to interpret aircraft manuals
• Leadership and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Current knowledge of EWIS, human factors, SMS and fuel tank safety
