Junior Global Pharmacovigilance Data Analyst

About the role

Join Baxter's Global Pharmacovigilance Data Management team to support patient safety worldwide. This junior position offers early‑career professionals the chance to develop expertise in data analytics, reporting and healthcare technology within an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Generate accurate periodic and ad‑hoc reports from the pharmacovigilance database.
• Develop, validate and standardise SQL and PL/SQL queries.
• Support innovative automation solutions using VBA and AI technologies.
• Investigate data‑quality issues, identify root causes and coordinate resolutions.
• Collaborate with PV technology, safety writing, regulatory, IT and other global functions.
• Contribute to improvements of Cognos‑based reporting tools, processes and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, Life Sciences or related field.
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience, including internships or entry‑level roles.
• Curiosity, logical and critical thinking, strong learning mindset.
• Self‑motivation and ownership of work and professional development.
• Ability to interpret complex data and explain findings clearly.

Required skills

• SQL and PL/SQL query development.
• VBA for reporting automation.
• AI technologies for innovative solutions.
• Cognos reporting tools (nice‑to‑have but mentioned).
