Front of House Team Member – Morning Shift

About the role

Otto Hospitality is seeking a friendly and professional Front of House team member to be the face of the property each morning. You will welcome guests, prepare and present the continental breakfast, and support the smooth running of daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide helpful information.
• Set up, prepare and serve the cold continental breakfast each morning.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic breakfast area.
• Assist guests with general requests and practical support.
• Update guest schedules, bookings and occupancy data in the property management system.
• Monitor guest feedback and help manage the property’s online reputation on platforms such as Booking.com, Airbnb and Google.
• Escalate any complaints, maintenance issues, safety concerns or operational problems to management promptly.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and management to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Follow company procedures regarding guest privacy, security, hygiene and service standards.
• Perform additional front‑of‑house duties as needed to support the property.

Required profile

• Friendly, presentable and genuinely service‑oriented.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent spoken and written communication in English and Maltese.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation, organisation and detail.
• Calm and professional when dealing with guests.
• Available for morning shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Resides in Malta within commuting distance to Cospicua.
• Valid driving licence and work permit if required.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to learn and use a property management system (PMS).
