Advanced Solutions Architect

About the role

Light & Wonder is seeking an Advanced Solutions Architect to lead technical design and delivery for its global iGaming platform. This senior position blends hands‑on development with architectural ownership, ensuring the platform scales, integrates, and operates reliably at worldwide scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own and document Architectural Decision Records (ADRs) for major design choices.
• Participate in the Architecture Review Board, reviewing solutions across platform portfolios.
• Define and enforce architecture patterns, integration contracts, and non‑functional requirements.
• Produce high‑quality solution designs, from C4 diagrams to component‑level details.
• Design and evolve RESTful and event‑driven APIs using OpenAPI specifications.
• Lead threat‑modeling exercises (STRIDE, Threagile) and translate findings into security requirements.
• Provide technical governance for CI/CD pipelines, environment architecture, and deployment strategies (GitHub Actions, Kustomize, ArgoCD).
• Drive performance and load‑testing practices, establishing baselines and resilience patterns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior software architecture roles, preferably within iGaming or high‑scale digital platforms.
• Strong ability to influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills for documenting decisions and presenting to governance bodies.
