Backend Software Engineer – Sportsbook Platform

About the role

As a Backend Software Engineer on the Sportsbook platform you will contribute to a high‑performance, high‑availability betting system that serves dozens of brands worldwide. You will work across the full software lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and data‑model management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain micro‑service components using .NET Core and C# within an agile, cross‑functional team.
• Design, implement and optimise APIs, message‑queue integrations (RabbitMQ, Kafka, ServiceBus) and data stores (SQL Server, NoSQL).
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests, ensure code quality and support continuous delivery pipelines.
• Analyse existing architecture, propose improvements and contribute to technical excellence.

Required profile

• Strong experience with .NET/C# and .NET Core in a micro‑service environment.
• Hands‑on knowledge of message‑queue systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka or Azure ServiceBus.
• Proficiency with relational (SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and collaborative teamwork.
