Software Engineer – Innovative Business Software Role

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join an innovative business software company in Malta. You will work within a dynamic team, contributing to the development and maintenance of high‑quality software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and maintain top‑quality software using the latest technologies.
• Assist the Software Development Manager/Team Leader with resource scheduling and allocation.
• Design, test, and implement systems following established standards.
• Develop automotive manufacturer interfaces and customer‑specific programs, reports, and solutions.
• Provide 2nd‑line technical support and handle project technical support.
• Participate in system upgrades, patching, and building advanced competencies in DMS areas.

Required profile

• First degree in Software Development or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent spoken and written English; French or Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of databases such as ISAM, Oracle, MSSQL.
• Proficiency in VB, C/C++.
• Experience with Web Services, XML, SOAP.
• Server administration on NT/Linux platforms.
