Tax Advisory Manager

About the role

EY is seeking an experienced Tax Advisory Manager to join its Direct Tax Advisory team in Malta. The role involves advising multinational and domestic clients on Maltese tax matters and international developments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor domestic and international tax developments and contribute to timely newsletters.
• Advise clients on Maltese tax implications and emerging international tax issues.
• Provide specific tax advice as required by clients.
• Support sellers and buyers with tax due diligence and transaction services.
• Liaise with the Malta Tax and Customs Administration on tax law interpretations.

Required profile

• Professional tax, accounting or legal qualification.
• At least 6 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in an audit/accountancy firm.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Strong technical and analytical abilities.
• Good organisational skills and a collaborative, interpersonal approach.
