Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

The Senior Legal Counsel acts as a trusted legal advisor and strategic partner to senior stakeholders across the organisation. The role provides clear, practical, risk‑aware guidance that supports sustainable growth while balancing commercial objectives with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of third‑party supplier and commercial agreements, including B2B supplier, platform, software, game provider and payment processing contracts.
• Prepare and review legal documentation covering corporate law, commercial matters, data privacy, employment law, intellectual property and related areas.
• Support corporate governance matters and ancillary transactions, including M&A assistance where required.
• Liaise with the compliance function to provide necessary support and ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
• Develop and share internal templates, best‑practice guidelines and conduct training sessions for internal teams.
• Monitor, interpret and implement regulatory developments, translating them into actionable advice for the company and its affiliates.
• Perform any ancillary duties related to the above responsibilities.

Required profile

• Qualified legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Proven ability to manage complex supplier and technology agreements.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy, employment law, intellectual property and M&A processes.
• Experience working closely with compliance teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to translate regulatory changes into clear guidance.
