Senior Legal Counsel – Employment and Privacy

About the role

We are a leading iGaming operator seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide expert advice on employment and privacy matters. The role will support the business across Malta, Gibraltar and the UK, ensuring compliance with local regulations while contributing to the growth of our legal function.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical legal advice on employee relations, terminations, complaints and privacy compliance.
• Draft, review and maintain employment contracts, policies, privacy notices and related documentation.
• Conduct legal research, identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with regulators, external counsel and internal stakeholders on employment and data‑protection issues.
• Develop scalable legal processes, templates and policies to support the organisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience practising employment and privacy law.
• Strong understanding of GDPR, data‑protection regulations and UK/EU employment legislation.
• Proven ability to handle complex employee‑relations matters and privacy compliance projects.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
