Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial & Corporate)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join a reputable iGaming business operating in Malta. The role focuses on providing high‑quality legal support across a range of commercial and corporate matters, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate key commercial contracts with customers and suppliers.
• Provide legal advice on intellectual property, data protection, corporate, employment and dispute resolution matters.
• Deliver strategic legal guidance to business units and senior management.
• Analyse commercial and corporate issues, develop concise solutions and present them effectively.
• Support cross‑functional projects that require legal input across multiple jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in a law firm or in‑house setting.
• Proven track record handling complex commercial transactions and negotiations.
• Experience in IP, corporate, and/or dispute resolution law.
• Excellent academic background with private‑practice training; in‑house experience preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities and confidence to advise on areas outside core expertise using commercial law principles.
