Process Operator – LNG Plant

About the role

Reganosa is expanding its LNG project in Delimara and seeks a skilled Process Operator to manage plant equipment under normal and emergency conditions. The role ensures safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operation while supporting production optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Control start‑up, shutdown and continuous operation of the plant and auxiliary systems without supervision.
• Monitor control panels, load ship tanks, and perform inspections, operational tests, repairs and adjustments.
• Execute basic scheduled maintenance and predictive maintenance routes.
• Report anomalies, implement corrective actions, and follow shift manager instructions.
• Manage waste, process work permits, and act according to emergency plans.
• Detect faults, analyse root causes, and place equipment in fail‑safe positions.

Required profile

• Higher Technical Diploma or Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Petrochemical fields.
• 3‑5 years of industrial experience, preferably in LNG or regasification environments.
• Proficient English (C1/C2) and ability to work rotating shifts.
• Strong safety attitude and capacity to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Knowledge of LNG operation and FSU/regasification plant systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS tools such as SAP.
• Proficiency in operating lifting equipment (cranes, forklifts).
• Experience with Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) and Lock‑out‑Tag‑out (LOTO) procedures.
