Automotive Technician

About the role

HandsOn Systems is seeking an Automotive Technician to join its technical department in Malta. You will work with state-of-the-art telematics and GPS tracking technologies, installing and maintaining advanced equipment on a variety of moving assets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical installations on cars, trucks, aircraft, boats and other vehicles.
• Install advanced automotive technologies and electronic equipment.
• Diagnose electronic faults on automotive equipment.
• Continuously learn new technologies through formal training sessions.
• Report technical issues or difficulties to management.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.
• Support flexible shifts and working hours when required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• High level of motivation and ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience with automotive technologies.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other software applications.
• Valid driving licence.
• Clean police conduct record.
• Based in Malta.
