Physical Education Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Physical Education Lead to design, deliver and evaluate physical education and activity programmes for primary‑level students within Inspire’s LinC educational programme. Working closely with a Physical Activity Instructor and a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure that all activities are evidence‑based, personalised and aligned with each child’s therapeutic and educational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver individualized physical activity and education programmes that match students’ abilities, goals and support needs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of motor skills, functional performance and physical abilities to inform programme design.
• Structure each session with a clear beginning, middle and end, using visual schedules and appropriate resources.
• Facilitate engaging group sessions while providing one‑to‑one support as required.
• Track student progress against measurable goals and key performance indicators, recording and analysing data to refine programmes.
• Prepare detailed progress reports for parents and guardians each semester.
• Mentor the Physical Activity Instructor, share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the LinC Physical Activity Programme.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in physical education, kinesiology, occupational therapy or a related field.
• Experience working with primary‑age children, preferably in an educational or therapeutic setting.
• Strong understanding of evidence‑based physical education practices and ability to individualise programmes.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, families and support staff.

Required skills
