Work Permit Processor – Single Permit Officer (Malta)

About the role

We are looking for an organised and detail‑oriented Work Permit Processor to manage Single Permit applications for international employees in Malta. You will act as the main liaison between candidates, employers and Maltese authorities, ensuring a smooth permit journey.

Key responsibilities

• Process Single Permit applications through the Identità portal.
• Review passports, contracts, qualifications and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with employers, candidates and recruitment teams.
• Monitor applications and liaise with Identità, Jobsplus and other authorities.
• Manage renewals, employer changes and other permit‑related procedures.
• Track deadlines, approvals and permit expirations.
• Guide candidates through documentation, appointments and permit procedures.
• Ensure applications are accurate, complete and compliant with Maltese requirements.
• Maintain confidential and up‑to‑date records.

Required profile

• Experience in work permits, immigration, recruitment or HR administration.
• Knowledge of the Identità portal, Jobsplus and Malta’s Single Permit process.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and follow‑up abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines.
• Professional and confident communication with candidates, employers and authorities.
