Technical Support Engineer

About the role

As a Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, maintaining and continuously improving mission‑critical IT systems, including PKI solutions, while ensuring stability, performance and security of enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead support and optimisation of Windows Servers (physical & virtual), VEEAM, Cisco devices, SCCM, WSUS and PKI systems (PrimeKey & Microsoft CA).
• Provide Level 3 troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and long‑term solutions using TOPPAN’s ITIL framework.
• Monitor performance, ensure security compliance and operate PKI services in line with ICAO and eIDAS regulations.
• Manage software deployments throughout the lifecycle and oversee change requests, testing, documentation and rollback plans.
• Maintain disaster‑recovery procedures, produce technical documentation and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Proactive, solution‑oriented professional with at least 3 years of experience supporting Windows enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills, with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, dynamic settings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Windows Server administration (physical & virtual, Hyper‑V)
• VEEAM backup, SCCM, WSUS
• Cisco networking, VLANs, routing, Cloudflare, DNS, CDN, WAF
• PKI systems (PrimeKey, Microsoft CA) and knowledge of ICAO, eIDAS, ISO 27001 compliance
• Experience with ITIL incident, problem and change management processes
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft Windows Server/Azure, Cloudflare Fundamentals
