Tax Senior

About the role

As a Tax Senior you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns, tax computations and related filings for a portfolio of Maltese and international clients. You will also support tax planning, due‑diligence assignments and liaise with the Malta Tax and Customs Administration.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review company tax returns and tax computations.
• Prepare and review tax refund and shareholder registration forms.
• Process tax‑related forms such as double tax relief certificates, tax compliance certificates and tax residence certificates.
• Prepare FATCA, CRS and other DAC related forms.
• Develop tax planning estimates and support complex client engagements.
• Advise clients on Maltese tax implications and international tax developments.
• Liaise with the Malta Tax and Customs Administration on interpretation queries.
• Assist in tax due‑diligence assignments and the preparation of publications.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant tax experience.
• Qualified or in the final stage of full qualification.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Assertive with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Self‑motivated, willing to learn and able to meet strict deadlines.
• Fluent in English.
