Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

Infinite Fusion Technologies is seeking a hands‑on Senior Network & Security Engineer to design, implement and optimise secure network infrastructures for national‑scale and international projects. This is a technical, non‑managerial position that serves as the top escalation point for complex networking and cybersecurity challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 technical support and expert troubleshooting for complex networking and security environments.
• Design and document high‑level and low‑level secure network architectures (HLDs and LLDs).
• Lead deployment, configuration, migration and commissioning of routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, NAC and secure remote‑access solutions.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of major incidents and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to cybersecurity best practices and relevant industry standards.
• Participate in customer workshops, technical presentations and solution demonstrations.
• Collaborate with solution architects, project managers, vendors and customers throughout planning, implementation, testing and hand‑over phases.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides and operational procedures.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and operating enterprise‑grade network and security solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors and cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Required skills

• Enterprise routing & switching (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SD‑WAN).
• Wireless LAN technologies, QoS, IPv4/IPv6, VPN, load balancing.
• Next‑generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, Zero Trust Architecture, secure remote access.
• Identity & Access Management, network segmentation, security hardening, SIEM integration.
• Hands‑on experience with platforms such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper, HPE Aruba, Check Point.
