Senior Mobile Automation QA

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Automation QA Engineer to join our fast‑growing financial services group. The role will start with a balanced split between manual and automated testing, evolving toward a predominantly automation‑focused position as our framework matures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration and exploratory testing of native mobile applications.
• Create and maintain detailed test cases, scenarios and test data.
• Identify, document and track defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop, maintain and execute automated tests for Android and iOS using Appium and TypeScript.
• Organise tests with Mocha and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines and BrowserStack.
• Build scalable, reusable automation frameworks applying Page Object Model, robust locators and effective assertions.
• Conduct cross‑device and cross‑platform testing and analyse automation failures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in both manual and mobile automation testing.
• Hands‑on expertise with native mobile app automation using Appium, TypeScript and Mocha.
• Experience running tests on BrowserStack and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong collaboration skills with developers, product owners and QA peers.
