Senior Audit Manager

The Senior Audit Manager provides exceptional audit activities for clients, acts as a high-profile contact for complex issues and becomes a credible advisor who influences clients and engagement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define the audit strategy with the partner and execute it in line with company policies and protocols
• Personally execute complex audit procedures and lead teams or parts of teams, depending on engagement size
• Monitor the team's progress against the plan and adjust it when needed
• Cultivate and manage business development opportunities and generate new audit business
• Coach and develop team members, share knowledge and give performance feedback and on-the-job training
• Maintain cooperative relationships with other assurance teams and long-term client relationships

Required profile

• Masters in Accounts, ACA/CA/ACCA or an equivalent international qualification
• Minimum of 4 years' experience at audit manager level
• Significant experience leading, planning, executing and reporting on audits, and delivering external audit and assurance engagements
• Proven project management skills

• Thorough knowledge of IFRS
• Strong grasp of risk and quality and risk management procedures
• Understanding of regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
