Senior Associate Auditor

About the role

The Senior Associate Auditor will join our audit team in Victoria, Gozo, delivering high‑quality audit engagements for a diverse client base. This full‑time, on‑site position involves planning, executing, and reporting audit work in line with professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit engagements, including risk assessments and testing of internal controls.
• Review financial statements for accuracy, compliance with applicable accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and draft audit findings with clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with partners, team members, and clients to resolve audit queries and understand business operations.
• Coach and support junior staff through guidance and on‑the‑job training.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements and maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Professional accounting or auditing qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in an audit or professional services firm, preferably at a semi‑senior or senior associate level.
• Strong foundation in finance and practical experience applying financial principles in an audit context.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to professional ethics.
