Process Technician

About the role

STMicroelectronics is seeking skilled and motivated Process Technicians to join its Process Engineering Department. The role offers hands‑on experience with semiconductor equipment, data analysis, and continuous‑improvement activities in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and process equipment according to engineering lot specifications.
• Collect and evaluate data on materials and processes, including qualification runs.
• Develop and execute action plans to improve quality, yield, and overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
• Support production and maintenance teams in troubleshooting and optimization.
• Liaise with engineering to ensure day‑to‑day productivity and meet quality targets.
• Participate in engineering trials, assembly, testing, and analysis.
• Follow OCAP (Out of Control Action Plan) and MRB (Material Review Board) procedures for non‑conforming lots.
• Create One‑Point Lessons, work instructions, and support operator certifications.
• Act as first technical contact for technicians, supervisors, and shift leaders.
• Coordinate failure‑analysis activities and manage EWIP (Engineering Work‑In‑Progress) requests.

Required profile

• Motivated candidates with a technical background suitable for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Willingness to work a 4‑shift pattern (day, night, rest, off) including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to collaborate with engineering and production teams.
• Good communication skills for interfacing with technicians, supervisors, and operators.
