Planning Manager

About the role

STMicroelectronics is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead the manufacturing planning team in Malta. The role focuses on optimizing plant loading, ensuring efficient production planning, and supporting business continuity through close coordination with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the planning team and its core activities.
• Develop production plans based on demand assessment versus plant capacity using SOP/SOE processes.
• Update short‑term capacity profiles to adapt to demand changes.
• Monitor execution of production plans in collaboration with Operations.
• Coordinate commitments for critical products and manage communication with business counterparts.
• Track planning and service KPIs at local and central levels.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar planning or supply‑chain role.
• Business proficiency in English.
• APICS and DDL certifications are a plus.
