People Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a People Advisor to provide expert HR support across the employee lifecycle. You will partner with managers and employees to ensure compliance with legislation, company policies, and HR best practices while fostering a high‑performing workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of employee relations cases, delivering timely and legally compliant advice.
• Support performance management and probation processes to achieve fair outcomes.
• Conduct or assist with investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Coach managers on people management, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.
• Prepare and maintain employment documentation, ensuring legal and organizational compliance.
• Keep HR policies and practices up‑to‑date with current legislation.
• Produce and analyse HR reports and people metrics to guide decision‑making.
• Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures and consultations.
• Promote a culture of fairness, engagement and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a generalist People Advisory or Employee Relations role.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to manage employee relations cases from advice to resolution.
• Experience with performance, disciplinary, grievance and investigation processes.
• Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong written communication and documentation abilities.
• Analytical capability to produce and interpret HR reports.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with high integrity.
