Junior Account Payable

About the role

The Junior Account Payable will ensure the completeness and accuracy of all trade payable postings and payments in a timely manner for One&Only Portonovi resort.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that invoices match purchase orders or contracts, check arithmetic accuracy and required approvals.
• Audit, post and file food & beverage, general supply and inventory invoices, ensuring correct VAT treatment.
• Prepare and monitor payment runs, reconcile supplier statements, and follow up discrepancies.
• Maintain aging reports, vendor reconciliations, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
• Assist with month‑end close, budgeting, forecasting and general ledger postings.

Required profile

• Attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with procurement, receiving and finance teams.
• Proactive approach to resolving invoice and payment issues.
• Organised filing and record‑keeping for audit purposes.
