Information Security Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Information Security Analyst to protect our digital assets and ensure data integrity. You will work at the forefront of our cybersecurity efforts, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing robust security measures to keep our systems resilient.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor systems and networks for intrusions, breaches, and abnormal behavior using security tools and SIEM platforms.
• Participate in the CSIRT team to analyse and respond to security incidents affecting critical infrastructure.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and security testing, then act on findings.
• Follow incident management procedures, ensuring incidents are logged, mitigated, and tracked.
• Contribute to the Security Awareness Training programme and promote a risk‑based approach to incident handling.
• Advise management on security enhancements and act as an ambassador for information security policies.

Required profile

• A degree in Computing, Cybersecurity or Information Systems.
• At least 2 years of experience in a cybersecurity role.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CSX Fundamentals, CEH, ECSA, CPTE, GPPA/GCIA.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS and modern cloud platforms.

Required skills

• Python scripting.
• PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with SIEM tools.
• Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
• Incident response and CSIRT participation.
• Understanding of ISO 27001 and PCI‑DSS standards.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
