HR Executive

About the role

We are seeking an organised, proactive and people‑focused HR Executive to join our People & Culture team. This hands‑on operational role will support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and HR administration to payroll coordination, performance management and off‑boarding, ensuring compliance with company policies and Maltese employment legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate employee onboarding and off‑boarding, handling documentation, system updates and internal notifications.
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, confirmation letters and other HR‑related documents.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure data is up‑to‑date.
• Process Jobsplus engagement and termination forms and support employment permit administration.
• Assist the monthly payroll process by validating employee changes, allowances, deductions and leave information.
• Respond to day‑to‑day employee queries and provide guidance on HR policies and employment matters.
• Monitor probation periods, contract renewals, leave records and other lifecycle deadlines.
• Coordinate performance‑management cycles, documentation and follow‑up actions.
• Support administration of employee benefits, training coordination and attendance tracking.
• Prepare HR reports, trackers and data for operational and management needs.
• Contribute to employee engagement, well‑being and internal communication initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an HR Executive, HR Officer, People Operations or similar generalist role.
• Practical experience in HR administration and employee lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Maltese employment legislation and data‑protection requirements.

Required skills

• HRIS (Human Resources Information System) proficiency.
• Jobsplus system experience.
