HR Executive

About the role

We are seeking an organised, proactive and people‑focused HR Executive to join our People & Culture team. This hands‑on operational role will support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and HR administration to payroll coordination, performance management and off‑boarding.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate employee onboarding and off‑boarding, ensuring accurate documentation and system updates.
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, confirmation letters and other HR‑related documents.
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee records in the HRIS and process Jobsplus engagement and termination forms.
• Support monthly payroll by preparing and validating employee changes, allowances, deductions and leave information.
• Respond to day‑to‑day employee queries and provide guidance on HR policies and Maltese employment legislation.
• Monitor probation periods, contract renewals, leave records and other lifecycle deadlines.
• Coordinate performance management cycles, documentation and follow‑up actions.
• Assist with benefits administration, training coordination and internal communication initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an HR Executive, HR Officer, People Operations or similar generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of Maltese employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with managers, employees and external stakeholders.
