Head of Industrial Operations

About the role

The Head of Industrial Operations will lead the company's operational activities, ensuring efficiency, safety and alignment with business objectives. Reporting to senior management, this senior role drives operational improvements, supports growth initiatives and oversees the development of new facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily industrial operations, managing resources to deliver high‑quality products and services.
• Coordinate projects across internal departments, ensuring delivery within budget, timeline and quality standards.
• Plan workforce, equipment and asset utilisation to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
• Support commercial activities through project costing, operational planning and service enhancements.
• Monitor financial performance, review budgets and KPIs, and propose efficiency initiatives.
• Act as primary operational contact for clients, ensuring excellent customer experience.
• Lead, mentor and develop a large technical workforce, fostering continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements and manage operational risk.
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of new operational facilities.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in industrial or production operations management.
• Proven leadership experience overseeing large technical teams.
• Strong financial acumen with experience monitoring budgets and KPIs.
• Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills.
• Relevant qualification in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Management or a related field (preferred).
