Gardener / Handyman

About the role

db Group is looking for a reliable and hardworking Gardener / Handyman to join its team in Mellieha. The person selected will look after outdoor areas, gardens and landscaped spaces, and also help with general maintenance and repair work across the Group's properties.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain gardens, lawns, plants and landscaped areas to a high standard.
• Water, prune, trim, weed and otherwise keep gardens tidy.
• Keep outdoor areas, pathways and surrounding spaces clean and well maintained.
• Carry out minor repairs, painting and basic maintenance work.
• Help look after outdoor furniture, fixtures and equipment.
• Use and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely.
• Report maintenance issues that need further attention and follow health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, general maintenance or a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of gardening techniques, plants and garden maintenance.
• Practical handyman skills and ability to do minor repairs.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team; physically fit for outdoor work.
• Reliable, organised and attentive to detail.
• A valid driving licence is an asset.
