Fintech Consultant

About the role

PwC Malta is seeking a Fintech Consultant to join its Banking and Fintech Advisory team. You will work at the intersection of regulation and innovation, helping fintech players and financial institutions navigate Malta’s evolving fintech ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Guide fintech clients through licensing processes for payment institutions, e‑money institutions and crypto‑asset service providers.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate complex updates into clear, client‑ready insights.
• Support clients with regulatory change, remediation, and the drafting of policies, procedures and control frameworks.
• Contribute to winning proposals and deliver high‑impact client deliverables.
• Shape industry conversations through thought leadership, client training and participation in events.

Required profile

• Curiosity, adaptability and a passion for crypto and digital assets.
• Solid understanding of financial services governance and regulatory landscape.
