Financial Controller – MEP & Maintenance

About the role

Panta is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead financial oversight for its MEP contracting and maintenance operations. You will ensure robust cost control, accurate project reporting, and strategic financial planning across multi‑disciplinary projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and ensure GAAP‑compliant reporting.
• Develop cash‑flow forecasts, annual budgets and rolling forecasts for the company and individual projects.
• Oversee project cost allocation, margin variance analysis and revenue recognition based on project progress.
• Manage cash‑flow planning, collections, supplier payments, retention releases and working‑capital optimisation.
• Implement internal controls, ensure tax compliance and maintain financial policies and SOPs.
• Lead and develop the finance team, coordinating with operations, project management, procurement and HR.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, ACA) preferred.
• 7–10 years of financial management experience, including at least 3 years in an MEP or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition for contracting businesses and multi‑year contract cycles.
• Hands‑on experience with complex project accounting and cash‑flow management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel modelling skills.
