Audit Senior

About the role

KPMG Malta is seeking an Audit Senior to join its audit function. You will work with a skilled team on a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries, gaining exposure to global methodologies and specialized KPMG tools.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in audit teams for entities in financial services, gaming, private enterprises and other sectors operating in Malta.
• Provide training on International Standards on Auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards and KPMG’s global methodologies.
• Deliver training on specialized KPMG software tools.
• Collaborate with focus teams and professionals across the local and global KPMG network to support audit engagements.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of external audit experience within a Big 4 firm.
• Strong eye‑for‑detail and excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Professionalism, integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Required skills

• Knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Familiarity with KPMG’s audit software tools.
