Finance Executive – Pharmaceutical Industry

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Finance Executive to join the Finance Department of an established pharmaceutical company. The role supports day‑to‑day financial operations, ensures accurate records, and delivers timely reporting in a fast‑paced corporate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Update and monitor high‑volume bookkeeping transactions.
• Maintain debtors’ and creditors’ ledgers, collect receivables, and process payments.
• Run monthly payment cycles, reconcile accounts, and manage the fixed‑assets register.
• Prepare trial balances, accruals, pre‑payments, and monthly management accounts.
• Produce financial reports and analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Assist with VAT statements, returns, and NSO surveys.
• Support interim and annual audits and finance‑related IT initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; ACCA qualification is a plus.
• 2–5 years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, financial modelling and data analysis.
