Customer Service Administrator (EU Passport / Malta)

About the role

The Customer Service Administrator handles sales, customer on-boarding and document verification for the bank's loan portfolio. Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, the role sits within the Services / Sales Department and covers loan applications for customers. The position is open to EU passport holders currently located in Malta.

Key responsibilities

• Handle loan applications and allocate the required documentation to complete credit applications.
• Check documents for due diligence and detect and identify suspicious activity.
• Organize documentation and scan and file incoming mail.
• Periodically review customer facilities.
• Comply with laws, regulations, company policies and procedures as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Excellent English language skills; fluency in reading, writing and speaking is required, and additional languages are an advantage.
• Minimum secondary education.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Team player with a customer-oriented mindset, able to read, write and speak excellent fluent English.
• Attention to detail, initiative and high standards of work practice.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Experience with a customer database is an advantage.
